Abstract

This paper describes the synthesis of CaMnO3 ceramic nanopowders by sol-gel procedure. Metal acetate precursorswere used, as starting materials. Single phase perovskite structure of CaMnO3 was formed, at calcination temperature of 800°C for two hours. The samples were characterized using XRD, UV, TEM and SEM methods. The electricalresistivity and energy band gap were also measured.
