Biodiesel fuel is clean and alternative diesel fuel that is produced from natural resources and degradable, such as vegetable oils. Recent scientific studies on alternative fuel production shifted to use of cheap resources. Algae is a very cheap source, plentiful and with a higher fat content than vegetable oils for biodiesel production. The remarkable thing about microalgae, using wastewater for their growing. In this way we can solve the problem of wastewater pollution with growing microalgae and found a cheap and free source for microalgae biomass production and consequently the energy. Homogeneous catalysts not only produce a lot of waste and harmful for the environment, but also faced with separation and purification problem of biodiesel. Thus researchers suggested the use of heterogeneous catalysts, this nano catalysts are highly regarded due to their high surface area. In this study, tried to examine ability of biodiesel production from algae in wastewater medium.
