Abstract

This paper proposes a novel adaptive recursive discrete Fourier transform (ARDFT) technique for the reference current generation of single-phase shunt active power filters (APFs). The suggested method is robust to input frequency changes and exactly extracts the reference current of the APF. Modeling of the converter system and design procedure of the control parameters are presented in this paper. To confirm the theoretical results, simulation results are provided. These results show effectiveness and excellent performance of the suggested technique.
