In this work; we propose a fair active queue management (AQM) mechanism based on a well-known economic model called supply and demand. AQM is an effective router-based approach for avoiding congestion. The proposed framework not only provides properly a fair resource allocation for different flows but also overcomes several shortcomings of previous AQM mechanisms.
