Expert systems have been applied increasingly for agricultural fields in recent years. This paper reviews recent advances in expert systems for agricultural activities which in a general classification include: application of expert systems in before planting activities, such as: product variety selection, land validation and preparation, application of expert systems in from planting to harvest activities, such as: seeding, irrigation, identifying pests and etc., and at last application of expert systems in after harvesting processes, such as: product maintenance and product quality evaluation. In this study many experts systems and there specifications are discussed.
