Abstract
Abstract. Here, we study the kind of shadowing, limsup shadowing, with ignoring a finite number of shadowing errors. It is shown that the limsup shadowing property (Abbrev. LSSP) is stronger than the pseudo orbit tracing property (Abbrev. POTP) in the shadowing way and discuss the relationship between the POTP and the LSSP. First, we present some of its general properties and then we characterize this notion of the shadowing in terms of chaos.
