Abstract
A rapid and precise method for simltaneous measurment of ferrous and ferric ions concentrations in solution with new synthesized beta-diketone (2-methoxy benzenthiol) acetrylacetone (2MBTAA) is reported. The determination of both ferric and total iron concentration is carried out in the same solution at the same light wavelength, which sigmifivantlry reduces the error of the on analytical procedure.
