Abstract

Staphylococcus aureus is one the most common causes of gastroenteritis worldwide. Knowing the precise boundary for the growth no-growth interface of S.aureus together with determining the period of time needed for bacterial growth initiation is necessary for food safety risk assessment purpose. Application of microbe growth models to predict the growth behavior of specific microorganism has been widely studied in recent years. The main objective of the present work was to develop an ANN model predicting time to detection (TTD) of Staphylococcus aureus accurately.
