Abstract

The extensive studies on the biochemical properties of phosphoramidate derivatives revealed various possibilities for their application in agrochemistry and medicine as insecticides, pesticides, and drugs. In this research, a new amidophosphoric acid ester with formula [(C6H5O)2P(O)NC4H8NP(O)(OC6H5)2] has been synthesized and characterized by 1H, 13C and 31P{1H} NMR, IR, Raman, DTA, TGA and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Single crystal X-ray analysis shows that it belongs to monoclinic system, space group P21/n, with a = 6.3117(4) Å, b = 8.9530(5) Å, c = 22.8630(13) Å, = 96.7560(10)° and Z = 2. The phosphorus atoms exhibit a tetrahedral configuration and the nitrogen atoms are practically planar. The NC4H8N group acts a bridge between two (C6H5O)2P(O) moieties and adopt a chair conformation. The molecule is symmetric and the asymmetric unit contains one half-molecule, the complete molecule being generated by a C2 rotation axis.
