Abstract

In a Hilbert space a sequence of functions $f_k$ is complete if the only function for which $<f,f_k>=0$ for all $k$ is the null function of that space. In this paper, using completeness properties, some characterization results of symmetric distributions based on entropies of ordered data are presented. It is well-known that symmetric distributions play an important role in statistical modeling and they are suitable for most of natural phenomena.
