Abstract
This paper considers non-parametric density estimation in the context of multiplicativecensoring.Anewestimatorforthedensityfunctionisproposedandcon- sistency of the proposed estimator is investigated. Simulations are drawn to illustrate the results and to show how the estimator behaves for finite samples.
