Abstract
In this note, we study the normed of a linear mapping T from a linear subspace D (T) of a normed space A into A, and obtain some results on the closability of densely defined derivations in normed algebras. We enquire under what conditions a linear mapping T is closable. Since it is the separating space a(T) to which we wish to restrict consideration, we seek hypotheses to ensure that a (T) = {0}.
