Aerobic exercise such as physical activity plays an essential role for a healthy development for children under chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The aim of study was to examine the effectiveness of aerobic exercise program on quality of life at children under cancer treatment. The patients diagnosed with a kind of cancer under chemotherapy or radiation therapy, were divided into two groups; control group received the routine treatment with activities of daily living and interventional group received the routine treatment addition of aerobic exercise program. Data was be regarding by pediatric quality of life questionnaires (PedsQL version 4) before and after training program. We enrolled 20 cancer patients, who were referred to Dr. Sheikh Children’s Hospital in Mashhad, Iran; 8 (40%) and 12 (60%) of the patients were female and male, respectively. The results show the significant association about the pain and injury (p=0.002), improving in interventional groups after test to camper of control groups. The perspective of parents the children’s quality of life show the significant association in pain and injury at physical working (P=0.002), and cognitive problems at school (P=0.039). The regular exercise and psychosocial program intervention can be improving wellbeing and thereby enhance efficacy of the children during treatment. In addition to the child sessions, this psychosocial intervention for parent cause of to enhance parental support, which might also increase the quality of life in these children and may be enhance the range of survival children.
