This experiment was conducted to study the effects of Hoagland solution, putrescine (50 and 100 ppm), calcium nitrate solution, and coco peat: perlite medium with three ratios (v/v) (1:1, 3:1 and 1:3) on some flowering parameters and macronutrients uptake of two cultivars of gladiolus (strong and white) under soilless condition in 2016. Data indicated that most criteria of flowering parameters expressed as spike emergence (day), spike length (cm), spike thickness (cm) , number of florets per spike, flower fresh weight (g), flower dry weight (g) and macronutrients uptake expressed as nitrogen content (%), phosphorus content (%) and potassium content (%) significantly increased spike emergence, spike length and number of florets per spike by the white cultivar (66.14 days), (60.38 cm) and (18.20) respectively, while spike thickness, flower fresh weight, flower dry weight, nitrogen content, phosphorus content and potassium content significantly increased by the strong cultivar (1.55 cm), (10.32 g), (4.45 g), (2.35 %), (0.32 %) and (0.23 %) respectively. In contrast, the all parameters were study that showed significantly increased by the coco peat: perlite medium with ratio (1:3) and application of Hoagland solution + putrescine 100 ppm (67.62, 55.22 cm, 1.67 cm, 17.98, 10.46 g, 4.95 g, 2.44 %, 0.3 % and 0.25 %) respectively and (63.53, 64.33 cm, 2.10 cm, 21.98, 11.82 g, 5.28 g, 3.50 %, 0.60 % and 0.31 %) respectively.
