Abstract
We presented a 42-year-old patient suffering from primary non-hodglein’s lymphoma in breast, liver and thyroid. The patient referred to a clinic complaining about nausea, jaundice, feeling of mass in the right breast, abdominal pain, fever and weight loss. Based on the clinical symptoms, valproate sodium treatment with perfenazine was administered to him. The results of biopsy revealed low malignant NHL breast. Moreover, the results of liver and thyroid biopsy also indicated NHL. Thus, chemotherapy was performed for the patient. The patient is still alive 16 years after the treatment without any major problem. The main purpose for presenting this case was to describe and introduce a case of primary lymphoma in breast, liver and thyroid. Physicians should be suspicious of the primary lymphoma outside of its usual sites (lymph nodes) and administer supplementary tests for patients who have clinical symptoms similar to NHL, but their laboratory factors remain unchanged and mediastinum and lymph nodes are not involved. It should be noted that thyroid, breast and liver can be the site of extra-lymphatic lymphoma.
