Abstract
We introduce a pair of new orthogonalities based on two modified angular distances in normed linear spaces. We show that none of these two orthogonalities entails the other one as well as other kinds of orthogonalities. Some significant properties of the orthogonalities, such as the α-existence and the α-diagonal existence, are presented together with giving some bounds for α. Several examples are presented to illustrate the results.
