Abstract
We study Davis–Wielandt numerical radius of Hilbert space operators. We obtain a sharp inequality for Davis–Wielandt numerical radius which improves a similar inequality in the literature. We also obtain some sharp upper and lower bounds for Davis–Wielandt numerical radius of compositions of two operators. By providing some examples, we will show that in some situations, our results give sharper approximation for Davis–Wielandt numerical radius of operators than some old results.
