Abstract. In [2], Batten and Stitzinger introduced the notion of Schur multiplier and cover of Lie algebras, and gave some properties of finite dimensional perfect Lie algebras. In the present article, we study the concept of finite perfect Lie rings and prove some results similar to Lie algebras.
