Let (Formula presented.) be a finite non-abelian group and (Formula presented.) be its center. For a fixed nonidentity element (Formula presented.) of (Formula presented.), the (Formula presented.)-noncommuting graph of (Formula presented.), denoted by (Formula presented.), is a simple undirected graph in which its vertices are (Formula presented.) and two distinct vertices (Formula presented.) and (Formula presented.) are adjacent if (Formula presented.) and (Formula presented.). In this paper, we discuss about connectivity of (Formula presented.) and determine all finite non-abelian groups such that their (Formula presented.)-noncommuting graphs are 1-planar, toroidal or projective.
