Abstract

In Spite of the recent interest in gender-linked differences in language acquisition, it seems that this issue has not yet received due attention in second language learning/ teaching. Writing in a second or foreign language is a major accomplishment that many native speakers of english never truly achieve,let alone EFL/ESL Learners. Thus, The present study attempted to examine L2 language features across genders in informal writing making use of the features presented in Mulac and Lundell .(1994)
