Abstract

The pair-potential energy function for methane has been detd. using a direct inversion of the exptl. reduced viscosity collision integrals obtained from the corresponding-states correlation. The potential obtained in this way is in reasonable agreement with the potential independently known from the crossed mol.-beam technique.
