Full TextAbstract
Most actions of IGfs are mediated through their receptors and regulated by IGFBPs. These receptors and binding proteins are expressed as early as embryonic day 14 in the central nervous system, but declines gradually, especially in case of IGFBP-1, to low levels in different areas of the adult central nervous system. Here in this study, we have improved our immunohistochemical skills for higher detection of IGF-IR and IGFBP-1 expression.
