Abstract
In this articles novel amplification methods is reviewed. The molecular amplification methods categorized in three main category: Target amplication, Probe amplification and signal amplication. Target amplification consist of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and its diverse variation, NASBA, TMA, 3SR or SSSR, Rolling circle replication (RCR). Probe amplification methods are new techniques that include Ligase-chain reaction (LCR), strand displacement amplification (SDA), QB Replicase. Signal amplification techniques consist of two generation of branched DNA assay, cycling probe asssay (CPT) and Cleavage-Based Amplification assay. In the articles theses novel methods are described.
