Abstract
Using the Banach ¯xed point theorem we establish the stability of the functional equation f(z) = G¡f(z); f( (z))¢, where f is an unknown function, under certain natural assump- tions on functions G and . Our main result is seen to slightly extend a known one of J. Baker.
