Abstract
Ten species belonging to four genera were characterized and identified: Boleodorus thylactus; Helicotylenchus pseudorobustus; H. californicus; H. plumaria; H. nigereinsis; Merlinius microdoratus; M. indicus; Psilenchus minor; P. hilarulus; and Psilenchus sp. Helicotylenchus pseudorobustus was the most widely distributed species. Helicotylenchus plumaria, H. nigriensis, M. indicus and M. microdurus are recorded for the first time from Iran.
