Title : ( Phylogenetic consequences of hybridization in two interbreeding taxa: Kurdish Wheatear (Oenanthe xanthoprymna ) and Persian Wheatear (Oenanthe chrysopygia ) in western Iran )
Authors: Mansour Aliabadian ,Abstract
The evolutionary phylogenetic consequences of hybridization were studied in two interbreeding taxa of genus Oenanthe, Kurdish Wheatear (Oenanthe xanthoprymna) and Persian Wheatear (Oenanthe chrysopygia, at their hybrid zones in Zagros Mountains rangs of western Iran. These two closely related taxa overlap and hybrid in this symatic region . Field study carried out between May 2006 and xxx 2007. xxx morphological and morphometrical data were measured and studied on xx hybrid and parental specimens. Furthermore, a combine matrix for the ND (1030 bp), cox1(730 bp) sequences was used to determine the phylogentic structure of the wheatears. their MP, Ml, and Bayesian trees were rooted with three close species to these taxa, O.lugens, O.finschii. and O.alboniger as outgroup. The phylogenetic analyses based on mitochondrial genomes confirmed a close phylogenetic relationships of supposed hybrid with O.chrysopygia despite a plumage coloration pattern close to O. xanthoprymna
