Abstract

This research was conducted to study, degradability characteristics of dry matter and crud protein of triticale silage treated with microbial additive, molasses and urea in fattening male calves, In this experiment triticale whole crop was harvested, chopped, and ensiled with urea, molasses, form aldehyde and microbial additive for 42 days in 12 experimental silage were included. Without additive (1), 1% urea (2), 0/5% urea (3), 3% molasses (4), 6% molasses (5), 3% molasses and 0/5% urea (6), 6% molasses and 1% urea (7), 65 molasses and 0/5% urea (8), 3% molasses and 1% urea (9), microbial additive (10), 1% formaldehyde (11), 2% formaldehyde (12), 2% (dm) formaldehyde. pH, air stability, dry matter and apparent quality were significant between experimental silage (P<0/05). Results showed there was significant difference between experimental silage for crud protein (cp), ADF. NDF, Ca, P and EE amount (P<0/05). The results of the incubation diets with using nylon bag technique in time 24 (h) showed that dry matter and protein rumen degradation in silage 8 in compare with other silage were increased significantly (P<0/05). The results of this experiment indicated that triticale silage treated with molasses and urea increased dry matter and protein rumen degradation and stability, dry matter and apparent quality
