Abstract
This study has established response of MD-55-1 radiochromic film to gamma sources by monte carlo simulation MCNPX2.4.0 code .With using tally F6 and tallymesh MCNPX code has calculated dose level in this type of the radiochromic film in water phantom with 137Cs and 60Co gama sources .Calculated results has compared with the experimental studies of Chiu-Tso,et ai. and shows good agreement. It should be noted that relative error of dose calculation for the F6 tally with two types as sources,137Cs and 60Co is 1.47% and 0.73% and for the mesh tally 2.45% and 2.28%, respective.
