Abstract

In this paper a moving mesh partial differential equation (MMPDE) approach to the numerical modeling of problems governed by nonlinear time-dependent partial differential equations (PDEs) is applied to the Burgers - Fisher equation. The method is described in detail and a selection of computational example is presented using different monitor functions applied to the Burgers - Fisher equation.
