Lameness occurs as a multifactor phenomenon in diary herds. Multifactorial nature of lameness makes good chances for controlling the disease and also makes some problems in different control methods. Lameness got the third position in list of economic threads to the herd. Incidence of lameness will be increased by age which caused by white line disease (WLD) and sole ulcer (SU) as the later is the reason of 40% of digital lameness in diary cattle. Days to first service and open days reported longer in white line disease and sole ulcer. Using locomotion scoring and epidemiological pattern of lameness may result in prevention and finding more lesions. This current study was performed in a diary herd consist of 1800 milking cows with average of 35 lit/day in a 6 month period. Five point locomotion scoring (LS) scale (Sprecher method) were used for scoring the cows on monthly basis and data of WLD and SU were used from hospital records in the month after scoring. All data have been analyzed by Chi-Square test and P less than 0.05 considered as significant level. Percentage of WLD (62.5%) were significantly higher from SU (42.5%) in cows with the scores 1 and 2 in previous month (P<0.05). WLD (22.91%, 12.5%, 2.08%) recorded in scores 3, 4 and 5 respectively that didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t show any significant difference with SU which were recorded as (18.82%, 28.23%, 8.25%) in the scores 3, 4 and five respectively (P>0.05). It seems that SU cases had more scores 4, 5 and less scores 1, 2 in previous month of its detection. This may contribute to longer course of the disease.
