Abstract
After Miller-Miller “similar media” theory, scaling methods were invented and have been frequently used. One important aspect of scaling methods is to scale Richards \'equation (RE) so that a single solution will suffice for numerous specific cases. Although many types of methods for scaling RE have been developed, all of them apply for similar soils. The similarity condition limits the application of these methods. Therefor, the main objective of this study was developing a method to scale RE applicable to dissimilar soils.
