Snake bite can be life-threatening and needs a correct treatment as quickly as possible, therefore recognition of snake can be a great help for medical staff to administrate snake-specific antivenom. Snake identification is very difficult because most of the time it can not be hunt or even see the offending snake thus its fang marks on skin can be a great guide. During this study, all the available venomous snakes and some non-venomous snakes were collected alive and their mouth, fangs and teeth were study in the lab. Their mouths inspected every two weeks and their fangs development recorded by taking series of digital photos. All the observed changes were noted. After logging-related changes, teeth patterns of venomous and non-venomous snakes were draw and the results were analyzed and compared. The results of this study revealed three different teeth and fang pattern were in venomous snakes. In the first pattern, two Fangs along with non-venomous teeth have been observed in the upper jaw. This is a normal and classic condition of the teeth and fangs. In the second pattern, three Fangs along with non-venomous teeth have been observed in the upper jaw. This is an unusual pattern in which the fangs have equal size and are located in a binary form in the one side of the jaw. In the third pattern, two Fangs along with non-venomous teeth have been observed in the upper jaw. This pattern is also unusual condition in which a non-developed fang on one side of the jaw and a well grown fang have been observed in another side of the jaw. The results of this study show that fang marks of venomous snakes in human do not always have a common and classic pattern. Therefore, by training the medical staff to identify the offending snakes based on their fang and teeth marks pattern can improve treatment of envenomed patients.
