To evaluate the effect of sowing date and weed interference on growth analysis of red beans cultivars a factorial experiment in randomized complete block design with three replications was carried out in the Research Field of Zanjan UniversityExperimental factors included of three levels of red bean varieties (erect cultivar (Derakhshan), half-erect cultivar (Sayyad), creeping cultivar (Goli)) and sowing dates at two levels,( 30th of May and 13th of June). The results showed that the highest density and dry weight weed was in the first sowing date and highest density and dry weight weed had the broadleaved weeds in first sowing date and the highest density and weed dry weight hah broad-leaved weeds in the first planting date and the cultivar the highest density and weed dry weigh was in sayyad cultivar.Therefore, Goli cultivar with the highest grain yield and high competitive ability under the weed conditions introduced as a best cultivar.
