The chemistry of aminopyrazoles has been extensively investigated in the past [1]. The considerable biological and medicinal activities of pyrazoles [2] and azolopyrazoles [3], for which aminopyrazoles are preferred precursors, have stimulated these investigations. Interest in aminopyrazole synthesis and chemistry has recently been revived [4]. The established activity of Zaleplon [5], Viagra [6], as well as Allopurinol [7], is surely behind this interest. In view of these reports and in continuation with our previous work in the synthesis of biologically active heterocyles [8], in this article we detail our synthesis of some new heterocycles with 5-amino-4- cyano-1H-pyrazole moiety. In this investigation we design and synthesis new (5-amino-1H-pyrazol- 1-yl)(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methanone derivatives by using reaction of (2a-e) with 5-amino-4-cyano-1Hpyrazole- 1-carbohydrazide (1) in ethanol. The FT-IR, 1H-NMR spectra and elemental analysis confirm the structure of compounds.
