Abstract
In order to study the effects of farm age, corm weigth and different amount of manure fertilizer on corm and stigma yield of saffrom, an experiment was conducted using complete randomized block design with three (2009-2011). Treatments include, 4 levels of corm weigth (>4, 44-8,8-12, <12g), 4 levels of manure fertilizers (0, 10,20 and 30 ton.ha-1) and 3 farm ages (1,2 and 3 years). For planting, corm rate of 3.5 ton.ha-1 was used. Results showed that the effect of the highest corm weight (15g), stigma yield (0.623g.m-2) and leaf dry weight (5.1gm-2) was observed with 20 ton.ha-1 manure associated with corm weight of 8-12 g planted in the field of planted with 30 ton.ha-1 manure in the field with 3 years age.
