Abstract
The precipitated hematite and magnetite phases of iron promoted with colloidal silica, Cu, Ce or Sr were prepared. Physiochemical characteristics and catalytic performance of the catalysts assessed and optimum loading of promoters obtained. Their activities for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis were tested in fixed bed reactor. The product distributions of various catalysts in different condition were compared.
