Eleven species of flowering plants are reported as new or interesting for the flora of Iran: Amaranthus viridis, Coronopus squamatus, Cousiniopsis atractyloides. Digera muricata, Haplophyllum obtusijolium, Lachnophyllum gossypinum, Launaea korovinii, Rindera cyclodonta, Sphenoclea zeylanica, Trigonella grandiflora and Tournefortia sogdiana.
