چکیده
Abstract In this study, we investigated barium hexaferrite nanoparticles substituted by Europium (Eu) with general formulae Ba 1-x Eu x Fe 10.5 O 16.75 (x=0.0, 0.1).These samples have been prepared by sol-gel method. XRD and FTIR analysis indicate that pure hexaferrite phase were formed and particle size of substituted ferrite is smaller than pure one. The magnetization curves at room temperature show that the coercive field has been increased with doping of sample but magnetization changes are negligible. Also, measurement of electromagnetic wave absorption in Ku frequency band indicates that the reflection loss of the sample with x=0.1 increased in accordance with pure sample
