Abstract
This paper presents the results of an experimental investigation of power generation from low-grade heat sources based on an organic Rankine cycle (ORC). Iso pentane was used as the ORC working fluid in this study. The heated water with natural gas was used as the low-grade heat source.Experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of the developed system at heat source temperatures less than 85 °C.
