Background and Aim:Sound is a pleasant stimulus for most of people. By the positive effects of this stimulus on the mental matters, heartbeat, breathing, blood pressure and the vital task of transmitting the oxygen to the muscles. Additionally, this stimulus causes the excitement to be decreased. Methods:Comparing the triable and witness group which were affected by Quran Sound, the change in their learning rate was studied based on Wexler type laboratorial IQ tests. Results:The level of learning rate increase has been achieved with a scale of p < 0.001. Therefore, the stimulus is valuable and important. Conclusion:Based on researches, musical sounds causes positive effect on mental aspects and relaxation as a safe and noninvasive factor that according to MRI images, it brought about an activity in side areas of limbic system and generated positive effect on short term memory.
