Abstract
In this paper moving mesh generation equations are used to obtain adaptive centers for radial basis functions. At first, a set of uniform centers are distributed in the domain, then mesh generation differential equations are used to move the centers to region with high gradients. The method is applied for problems whose solution contain region with rapid variations. Numerical results of Helmholtz differential equation show a clear reduction in the error, when the adaptive centers are used for RBFs.
