Abstract

Different methods, including ultrasonic, reflux, and microwave techniques were used to synthesize one formulation containing single-wall carbon nanotube and conjugated cisplatin. In fact, some important parameters were changed to evaluate the quality of formulations for biomedical applications. The value of conjugated cisplatin and the stability of formulations were measured by atomic absorption spectroscopy and dynamic light scattering analysis. The structure of main platform was checked by TEM images. Results strongly suggest that the microwave process can be applied as an optimized and rapid method for synthesis of cisplatin complex. This procedure can also maintain the main structure of complex for special application in drug delivery of cisplatin.
