Abstract
Inthisstudy,weindicatedamethodofpreparingsemi-interpenetratingpolymernetwork(semi-IPN)throughinsitupolymerizationofpolysulfone(PSU)withinepoxyresin-hardener.Polysulfonewasblendedwithepoxyresin-hardenerandthenwascoatedonsheetsofplaincarbonsteel(ST-13)atintervals.TheEIS(electrochemicalimpedancespectroscopy)wasperformedtoconfirmthecorrosionresistanceproperty.Samplescontaining0.5%wtpolysulfoneobtained4bstandardinscratchtestingwhichiscausedbyascratch-resistantpolymercoating.Inordertoincreaseanti-corrosionpropertiesofcoatings,compositecoatingspreparedbygraphenedispersioninthepolymermatrixwhichcontainmixtureofpolysulfoneepoxyInordertoinvestigatethedisprtionofgrapheneinapolymermatrix,TEMandSEManalysiswereperformed.ThisImprovementincorresionpropertieswasachievedbyaddinggrapheneinthecompositecoatings.
