Abstract
In this paper a novel Alamouti-type coding scheme is presented for the complex CDMA OFDM/OQAM system based on Walsh-Hadamard (W-H) spreading codes. The proposed scheme introduces an approach to gain time diversity in complex CDMA filterbank system and is in particular effective for transmission over doubly selective channels. Its performance is evaluated in an underwater acoustic (UWA) channel through computer simulations and the results demonstrate that the new system outperforms the previous complex CDMA OFDM/OQAM system at higher signal to noise ratios.
