Purpose: The aim of this study was to comparison of postural control in elite male basketball players with and without anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). Methodology: For this purpose, we chose 15 health people who didn’t have any history of acute injury or surgery in their knees as healthy group (HG) and 15 people who had a history of ACLR at recent 12 to 18 months in their non-dominant knees with allograft arthroscopic method as ACLR group (ACLRG) across elite male basketball players of Mashhad with 18 to 25 years old. Their balance measured by force plate. Data collection was 15 seconds in single leg position and closed eyes in which the knee was in 15 degrees of flexion. This procedure had repeated 3 times for both of legs and the subjects were resting for 1 minute between each try. Interclass comparison calculated using independent T-test. Results: The results showed that there is not a significant difference between antero-posterior and medio-lateral balance components in intact and unhealthy leg of HG and ACLRG (P>0/05). Conclusions: Based on findings of current study, balance defect could be resolved if the rehabilitation phases done completely after ACL reconstruction.
