Abstract
In this paper Markov chains with fuzzy states are considered.The main objective is to study reducibility of a Markov chain with fuzzy states.It is shown that if the Markov chain associated with the process of non-fuzzy states is reducible the corresponding Markov chain associated with the process of fuzzy states is not necessarily reducible. After presenting definition of absorbing fuzzy state and transient fuzzy state we show how absorbing fuzzy states are constructed.Then we prove a relation about probability of absorption from transient state to an absorbing class, and illustrate it with examples.
