Abstract
Here we describe the synthesis of three complexes via the proton transfer mechanism with the pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid N-oxide ligand and manganese ion. The crystal structures of the complexes were studied from the perspective of crystal engineering concepts to explore possible differences between manganese complexes of pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid N-oxide and those of pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid itself.
