Title : ( The relationship with others according to Quran teachings )
Authors: Gholamreza Raeisian ,Abstract
Human interactions need to be based on normative principles for people to reach their desired purpose without any violation of the rights of others. The present study explores some Qur’anic teachings in an attempt to derive a number of fundamental principles upon which respectful human interactions can be built. Here, what is meant by ‘the other’ includes not only those who share a common faith with us, but also people from religions different with ours. The Qur’anic verses studied seem to teach that some of these principles are general and will thus include all people, while the rest are unique to people of other faiths. The findings demonstrate that relevant teachings can be significant in areas of human dignity, justice, faithful commitment, respect for others’ beliefs, and ethical dialog.
