Abstract
In this study, magnetic manganese ferrite nanoparticles were prepared by a solvothermal method and used as solid phase to extract trace amount of reactive orange 84 dye from aqueous solution. A response surface method (Central Composite Design) was used to design experiments and optimize the conditions (adsorption and desorption time, pH, concentration and volume of eluent as well as adsorbent dosage). The results showed that high performance and easy separation of magnetic MnFe2O4 nanoparticles made them as outstanding candidate to determine low concentration of organic dyes in aqueous solutions
