Abstract
The ability of a nano-drug carrier to reach the tumor tissues is very important issue in targeted cancer therapy. Due to tumor tropic and migratory properties, there is a need to engineer a type of live cell to work as a drug carrier. In recent years there is a growing attraction towards using Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) as an anti-proliferative, pro-apoptotic, and anti-angiogenic agents in targeted cancer therapy in addition to tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. In this paper we aim to provide a complete review of Mesenchymal Stem Cells used as drug carrier.
